FRANCE MACHINES OUTILS
BACKGROUND
The FRANCE MACHINES OUTILS group is a major European distributor of new and used machine tools. The company is currently positioned as one of the major alternative suppliers of equipment for sheet metal and mechanical engineering production. Established in 1987 in Vaulx-en-Velin, Lyon Machines Outils wanted to move its to operations to the Gaulnes joint development zone in Meyzieu to strengthen its operations in the Rhône-Alpes region.
THE PROJECT
For this project, FRANCE MACHINES OUTILS was supported by an experienced team of professionals who proposed technical solutions adapted to both the industrial and commercial contexts.
OpenBox’s structure makes the decision-making process quick and agile. Management from both OpenBox and FRANCE MACHINES OUTILS have worked together to make the right choices.
After several years of research, FRANCE MACHINES OUTILS found land in the Gaulnes joint development zone in Meyzieu and prepared and filed a construction permit with Agence A.
The call for proposals for the building's design and construction went on for several months: OpenBox made it to the end of the process and was able to convince FRANCE MACHINES OUTILS of the competitiveness of its proposal.
Construction followed the Co Design&Build method, with regular, transparent and collaborative meetings.
