BARJANE
A logistical platform for Airbus Helicopters and its logistics partner Daher
BACKGROUND
In the village of Tremblay in France, just 20 km from Paris, and on the doorstep of Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport, the project developed by BARJANE is located at the very centre of AeroliansParis, the largest development of the Grand Paris Aménagement Urban Development Project (200 hectares) within the remit of the local public establishment Paris Terres d’Envol.
The BARJANE logistical platform comprises some 30 hectares within the AeroliansParis zone dedicated to industrial and logistical activities. Two logistical buildings have already been developed.
This new complex completes the unit whilst protecting the architectural harmony and environmental commitment, which are permanent concerns of BARJANE.
After the Louvres site for ba&sh and SeD Supply Chain Solutions, BARJANE has once more called upon the expertise of OpenBox for this new project, a turnkey rental complex for Airbus Helicopters and its logistical partner Daher.
For OpenBox, the challenge lay in fulfilling the technical specifications of the client whilst respecting the requirements of the Grand Paris Aménagement Project.

The complex covers a total surface area of 13,400m²
Comprising:
The premises have a free-standing height of 10.50m with a total roof height of 13.21m.
The facades were very carefully designed, so as to be in perfect harmony with the neighbouring building and the entire development area, using ochre shades, ledges, peripheral flashing as well as the choice of quality materials.
Outdoor areas are developed with planted basins offering an alternative rain-water drainage solution.
Reinforced turf parking spaces have electric vehicle recharge points, as well as a host of spaces for two-wheel vehicles.
The whole building was designed with future development in mind.
The project will receive the Breeam Good Label.
Start date of works: November 2020
Completion scheduled during summer 2021.
